Why do I want to do very well

I want to graduate with distinction! it's very important for me, and I thought about it and realise it's because I want to justify the whole move to London. Since my partner and I have been separated, I need to justify that the move to London was not in vain and if I'll graduate with distinction, I believe it will make me feel better about the fact that I initiated and push toward the move to London and it was for a good cause.
